Top Reasons to Use a Local Lender

There's a remarkable difference in using a local lender vs a national mortgage company when purchasing or refinancing a home. Here are the top reasons why working with a local lender for your real estate needs is so important:

  • Personal Service - local lenders tend to be more focused and attentive. You're not just another name and another mortgage. You'll likely see them in your community because that's where they live! They want to do right by you and keep you on schedule.

  • Local Expertise - they know your market! Better than any national company does.

  • Lower Stress Levels - they have relationships and experiences with many local realtors, title companies, appraisers, etc. When it comes down to it, they know what it takes to keep you on schedule and keep your stress levels lower than that if National or out-of-area lenders. They work with local folks on the daily!

  • When you buy local and borrow local, you're supporting your community - using a respected, local lender can often give you the upper hand in a competitive real estate market.

  • Attention to detail - Local lenders often attend their closings to make sure all items are in order.

  • Bottom line - they have a vested interest in you and the community they live in. Using a local lender can give you that advantage you need in today's market.
